BACK IN TIME (chapter one)

Hey guys! So, on my blog I'll be writing stories for fun. I might not be amazing to you guys, but to me, I think I write awesome stories for an 11 year old boy. So my first story I'll be writing is called "BACK IN TIME" and, I'm thinking that before we waste any more time I should write it, and, you should read it, so, here it is.
(by the way, there will be a couple of posts of the same story for most of my stories because I publish one chapter at a time)

                         BACK IN TIME

                                    CHAPTER ONE

I, Jake, snapped awake to the sound of my alarm clock, hopped out of bed but kept my P-J`s on. I raced down the stairs, two at a time, and devoured a blueberry muffin. I zoomed into my father's room, woke him up and grabbed him clothes while he sprang out of bed. Then , I rushed into my 14-month just-started-walking-baby-sisters room, but she wasn't there, so I peered into my ten year old brother's room, and he wasn't there either. But I was pretty sure where he was.

Me and my dad darted to the car, hopped in, and I sat down beside my grinning brother Steph, and my excited baby sister, sally. "How long have you been waiting in here with your sister, Steph?"

"About three hours." Steph replied

"Well I hoped you learned your lesson." Dad muttered as he rotated the ignition key.

"What lesson?" Steph retorted, as we sped off to pick up my mom...

After what seemed like an eternity, we arrived at the hospital, everybody rushed out of the car, but, mysteriously, a force flung me right back into my seat. "What the, ohhhh." I threw off my seat belt and darted inside the hospital.

Me, dad, Sally, and Steph, gathered around the front and all told the woman that they were here to pick up Dena Sketchers.

The woman's expression saddened. "Um, well, just follow me." She lead into a room with some chairs, and a coffee table with some toddler books, magazines, and a coffee machine. "Just wait here for a second." She told us, and than she shuffled out of the room.

After about five minutes, a man walked in the room and said "I am sorry, she was almost cured, 99 percent, but somebody  came in disguised as somebody else with poison, and...

"JUST GET TO THE POINT!" I "said" a bit louder than I meant to.

"Okay." The doctor replied in a hushed voice. " your mother was killed with a deadly poison that was snuck into one of the final injections that she had before she was supposed to go home, and we do not know who did it." He turned around and walked out the door. Everybody in the room burst out in tears.

Our family was so upset that one of the nurses had to drive us home in our own car. We got home and I raced into my bedroom, and I cried, I cried all day, non-stop, and that night I made a vow that, if its possible to protect any other friend or family from death, I will, because it was my fault she died, I should have been with her all day and night, dozing on a steel floor if I had to. But, what I have my mind focused on most is that scientists are creating the time machine, and under-neath my pillow is a printed sheet off an illegal website of how to control it...
